Commercial Property Inspection Hawaii

If you’re looking at commercial property inspection Hawaii presents some unique challenges your inspection service must be qualified to take on. Hawaii -- and Oahu in particular -- has a wide range of building styles that an inspector must be familiar with, and the tropical climate and high population density in urban areas can make it tough to take good care of a property, especially one that may or may not be climate controlled.

Given the prices generally associated with commercial properties in a real estate market that’s already pricey, a commercial property is almost certainly a major investment you want to be confident in. So when you need commercial property inspected prior to a real estate transaction, you’ll need all the same services that an average home buyer would, plus some. That means looking beyond prompt reporting and friendly, professional service.

So what should you be looking for in a commercial property inspection that you might not need in a standard home inspection? At Inspect Hawaii, we believe the best approach is bringing in specialists to make sure you get a thorough picture of what’s going on in the commercial property you’re considering. We put together a team that might include structural engineers; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) specialists; environmental specialists; fire safety specialists; electrical and plumbing specialists; elevator specialists; roof specialists; paving specialists; and termite or other pest specialists. We’ll make sure you get detailed reports on each and every aspect that might be cause for concern.

And, of course, you should also keep in mind that commercial inspections may be a good idea if you’re selling a commercial property, as well. That way you won’t have any surprises during the sale and can be confident that maintenance or safety issues won’t end up sinking a deal late in the process.

Luxury Oahu Home Inspection Service

If you’re thinking of buying, selling or otherwise transferring property on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, you’ll need an Oahu home inspection service that you can depend on to give you a clear picture of any potential problems -- or selling points -- that could affect your real estate transaction. And as the island with the most diverse building features out of any of the islands in Hawaii, Oahu isn’t the easiest place to find an inspection service qualified to take on all the kinds of buildings common on the Gathering Isle.

You could be looking at a brand-new condo high rise, all steel and glass, in the Ala Moana area; you could be considering a townhouse in an Ewa subdivision; you might want a more traditional island home near the North Shore; or you could be looking to buy a graceful, century-old single-family home in quiet Manoa. Regardless, Inspect Hawaii has the expertise to make sure you know what is going on inside (and under, behind and on top of) every kind of property you might be hoping to buy or sell.

If you choose Inspect Hawaii as your Oahu home inspection service, you can rest assured you’ll be getting the benefits of all the latest technology, including thermal imaging (which can reveal issues such as water damage and electrical problems) and aerial photography (allowing you to know exactly what’s going on with the roof of a home without ever stepping foot onto it). But you’ll also benefit from the meticulous attention to detail that can only come from experienced professionals who know exactly what to look for. And, of course, you can be confident you’ll get courteous customer service in all your interactions with us. Oahu may be Hawaii’s most populous island, but we all know how tightly knit this community can be. That’s why we’re committed to inspecting your home as if it were our own.

Inspect Hawaii Obtains FAA Exemptions to Use Drone Cameras for Inspections

Inspect Hawaii, LLC announced today that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted an exemption that will allow the company to conduct commercial operation of its drone camera in the U.S. The FAA grants exemptions from FAA rules limiting commercial operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) pending the adoption of permanent rules.

FAA section 333 exemptions are intended to "provide a pathway for civil operators who desire safe and legal entry" into the U.S. National Airspace System (NAS).

"We are pleased to be the first Home Inspection company in Hawaii to receive an exemption from the FAA authorizing commercial operation of our drone camera." said Oscar Libed, owner of Inspect Hawaii, LLC. "This decision reflects our efforts to responsibly operate our drone camera while inspecting roofs and property lines during our home and commercial building inspections.”

Aerial photography using a drone camera can quickly and easily capture aerial images to identify roofing defects and location of property lines. The use of a drone camera avoids the safety hazards of climbing high-pitched, multi-story roofs and removes the possibility of damaging roofs by not walking on fragile roof materials or structures.

We've never used Inspect Hawaii before, however with our scheduling and need for someone who could use infrared and drone technology given the unique nature of the property. Our realtor found Oscar onlinie and we took the chance. We're glad we did. Oscar's friendly demeanor and patience as he went through detail by detail - and we had a ton of questons- was fantastic. He was accommodating, thorough during and after with the follow up, he never gave us other contacts for structural questions we had in case we needed the contracts. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him again for the next place we purchase.
